Flexible once-weekly administration1

Administer at any time of day, with or without food or drink1:

No need to plan administration around meals or snacks.

Patients and caregivers should receive appropriate training by a healthcare provider prior to use. Refer them to the Instructions for Use document for complete directions.

Adjustable to help avoid missed doses1:

YUVIWEL offers the option to administer treatment up to 2 days before or after the scheduled dosing day.

If a dose of YUVIWEL is missed:

  • Administer the missed dose as soon as possible but not more than 2 days after the missed dosing day
  • Resume once-weekly dosing for the next dose at the previously scheduled dosing day
  • If more than 2 days have passed from the dosing day, skip the missed dose and administer the dose on the next regularly scheduled day
  • At least 5 days should elapse between doses

Switch without missing a treatment day1:

When switching patients from daily CNP analog to once-weekly YUVIWEL, counsel patients to administer their first weekly dose of YUVIWEL the day after their last dose of daily CNP.

CNP=C-type natriuretic peptide.

Get to know what’s in the YUVIWEL injection Kit1

YUVIWEL is supplied in vial strengths of 1.3, 2.8, and 5.5 mg

Patients receive YUVIWEL in a carton containing 4 Kits. Each Kit contains everything needed for a single injection:

  • 1 single-dose vial of YUVIWEL
  • 1 prefilled diluent syringe
  • 2 single use preparation needles (21 gauge)
  • 1 single use injection syringe
  • 1 single use injection needle (30 gauge)

Convenient storage1

  • Packaged in a small, single carton for monthly use
  • Store unreconstituted in the fridge or at room temperature*†‡
*Store YUVIWEL refrigerated between 2 °C to 8 °C (36 °F to 46 °F). Store in the original packaging until time of use to protect from light. Do not freeze.1
Do not use YUVIWEL beyond the expiration date or 6 months after the date it was first removed from refrigeration (whichever is earlier).1
Reconstituted YUVIWEL can be stored at room temperature up to 30 °C (86 °F) for up to 4 hours. Discard the unused reconstituted solution.1

  • YUVIWEL is a single once-weekly injection for children weighing <56 kg
  • For children 56 kg, 2 separate Kits are needed
    • The 2 injections should be given one after the other, using different injection sites
  • Periodically monitor patients’ growth and adjust the dose according to actual body weight. Upon confirmation that no further growth is expected as indicated by closure of the epiphyses, discontinue use of YUVIWEL
